FvH Month of Action is here!

Football v Homophobia exists to challenge discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression at all levels in football.”

February is LGBTQ+ History Month and the FvH Month of Action. Seagals are a 2023 Champion Club, meaning we are committed to talking LGBTQ+ discrimination during the Month of Action and beyond.

Why is the FvH campaign important to us?

As an organisation, they are helping to create change from grassroots through to the profesional game. This reflects our own desire to continue creating a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ people to enjoy football in Brighton & Hove.

How is the club getting involved in 2023?

We kicked off our campaign month early with a visit to Sussex County FA for a Club Equality Workshop, educating our members on how to create a more inclusive environment.

This year we’ll also be taking part in designated FvH fixtures including our first evet inter-club charity match on Sunday 12th Feb. We’ll be fundraising for LGBTQ+ mental health charity MindOut all month. You can donate here.
